In the Loire Valley, on both sides of
the “royal Loire,” French kings held court for more than a
century. History, art, nature, people, wine – all come together
to make this area one of the foremost tourist attractions of France.
Less than 10 km from the city of Tours, nestled between the river Cher
and the chalky vineyards of the Loire valley, is the small romantic village
of Larçay. The Manoir de Clairbois, a beautiful house
built in the 18th and 19th centuries, is located at the edge of the old
town. The Manor is enchanting in its idyllic setting in the middle of
a large park. It maintains a living style that is known mostly from books
and old stories.
